Guest Keeps
We had our last ferreting trip of the season today and were joined by Ken and his 6 month old pup red, for whom it was to be their first time ever ferreting. We'd originally planned to go out on Sunday, but with the forecast of heavy snow, brought it forward to today. It was bitterly cold, and snowing as we set off to our usual haunt. Red, considering he is so young and on his first ever ferreting trip did extremely well. He was fairly well behaved with the furts  :11: :11: and began to get more used to them as the day wore on Unfortunately, as I suppose was to be expected at this time of year, we came across one or two young ones, which red decided to retrieve. One thing I was extremely impressed with was the way he took to marking rabbits, and he wasnt wrong either. Anyway, enough of the rambling, a few pics of the day A little enthusiastic with the nets :11l: a bit of retrieving marking well wouldnt be the same without a ferrety pic at the end of the day, we didnt get many, but by god they were hard fought for One tired happy little pup Dont know what Im going to do on a weekend now Quote Link to post
